Some scrolls and stuff could look nice (like the 40K purity seals). And I'd advice you not to make it too cartoony.

A big iron-bound holy book hanging at the side would look good IMO, but all-in-all I like the mini. The first head looks weird but it's probably isn't finished yet .

great mini to go along with great rules. I love it.

a suggestion, instead of the fanatic head, what if you made a witch hunter/inquisitor puritan style buckle hat. I think the holy symbol model is just screaming for an inquisitor look.

that is, unless you plan on making a witch hunter type model someday, which would be great too.

As every time, good job. I prefer the left one with the "severe" head. Looks more dark !!!About hammer, do you think that it seems too much Sigmar ? It should be maybe better with a morning star or something just like that. (something of different)

The scroll of purity is not a good idea since Rackam produced a templar with the same look, having a scroll in hand, and with a "fanatic" look... (I think the name is Sered, but i'm not sure now...)

If you add a shield, maybe it coulb be massive. If you do it, the war priest could have a flail... I like it :D

I think you need to do soemthing REALLY fancy/totally awesome with the weapons. Warpriests arent the coolest models imo so this one needs something to set it apart from the otehr out there and i think that can be achieved with the weapons or whatever its holding in its hands. Why not make the Holy Symbol double as a Morning Star? So a morning star in the shape of a holy symbol. I like the idea of a big book also

Hey

Beautiful, but it would be nice if the left arm had also the option to use a sword.
So you could go shield and hammer, shield and sword, ....

A sword like this http://www.weaponmasters.com/shopping/p ... 2&imageid=

Maybe only one bare head and the other one in chainmail?

When you choose hand weapon and shield it could also a noble in full plate.
I know that foremost those miniatures are made for Avaters of War the Game, but I reckon many use your great sculpts for hero models in other games.

Greetings

EDIT: Please keep the idea for a round shield.
I second the idea for a helmet. Like a norman or barbute helmet. They still show a part of the head.

The two hammers option is a bit excessive i think.... what about an open holy book in the left hand?

And the fanatic look head has not balance with the rest of the mini, with the pose.... better a cap as used in the procession of "Holy Week celebration" in Spain.

Something like this could be great to see, i think :)

I like the WIP's!!! Looks awesome.

My suggestions:
- 2 bald heads are kind of lame. I would prefer 2 heads that differ more from each other. like bald head and one with a helmet or a crasy/fanatic haircut or a old priest tonsure like this one.
- the 2 hammer version is very much like the sigmarpriest thingy from GW. might look cool to use at least one other weapon like a massive Morningstar or club. but 2 hammers are good too. just make them look very sacred. :)
- i like the shield version! make it heavy and massive! :D

i'm very excited to see the final version and of corse more wip's ;)

very good work!!

I'd like to echo the sentiments of a few here and say that big scary maces or morning stars may be the way to go on the weapons. I don't think that a sword really fits the model though

and for those wondering about the weapon options, you will see why the three setups are chosen when you see the rules (some of the best avatar rules yet).

The big pointy hats are probably a bit over-the-top, and would look OK on a non-armored figure, but then you run into issues that it will look a lot like a certain hate group based in the U.S.

I do agree though that some variance between the two heads should happen. Also remember everyone, that a helmeted head will change the rules for the model, unless of course it is just a skull cap or something of the sort.

As for the shield, I think the round shield is OK but it need to be pretty large. I have a disdain for small, buckler type shields, except on quick, rogue type characters.

I like him. Perhaps one thing for next releases: Would be great if the models get a little bit more dynamic :)
